The Museum of Art and Design (MAD) is one of the most exciting additions to New York City's cultural landscape in years. Not only is the building a marvel of inspired repurposing, but the institution is a welcome counterbalance to the urban mall that is the Shops at Columbus Circle.

Fluxus Gets a Reappraisal

The 1960's Fluxus art movement is enjoying a welcome survey at Grey Art Gallery at NYU. Whether it is the youth of the movement or its innate resistance to easy categorization, Fluxus has not enjoyed the sort of recent, major art exhibits as other contemporary movements like Pop and Post Modernism.
